Urgent Care Center at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital

I was a traveling Veteran returning from Overseas & the VA sent me to this clinic after I caught Bronchitis traveling through Southeast Asia. The staff was amazing from beginning to end. So friendly & so professional! I’m a Certified Medical Assistant & I have many years experience in Urgent Care Stateside. So I know how clinics operate on the inside. I was very impressed with how well the clinic was being ran. I definitely recommend this clinic & their services 😊

Would be 0 if it was an option. Made sure to come on a weekday after lunch ended so it wouldn't be forever to get me back, was told there were only 2 people in front of me when I got there. Sat in the waiting room for 3 hours trying not to throw up while countless people came in and were taken back before me and the 3 other sick people waiting with me. The doctor I saw was uncaring and inexperienced. They never ever test you for anything just throw you a random antibiotic so I was given an antibiotic I'm allergic to and couldn't finish it since it interacts with my migraines which could have made me go blind and have me neurological issues that late for a week. I also asked for a medicine to help with my asthma, my usual doctor gives me a prescription of 20, they gave me 3! After the sickn

Absolutely Five stars from the moment we walked in. I brought my daughter here who has a chronic skin condition, we are from out of town, but she needed to be seen. From Jen the nurse to Wendy the nurse practitioner, they were skilled, kind and compassionate. My thanks to both of you for giving my daughter such wonderful care!!!!

Called ahead and was told the wait would only be 30-1 hour when I got the I got signed in which took 15 minutes for them to even notice me waiting in the first place. Process to sit there from 11:30 to 2 o’clock. There was only one person in front of me and I left before ever being seen and I’m not sure how long she was there before me. It’s absolutely to only have two patients there and lie about a wait time! They were very rude when checking me in and when I asked if it would be much longer after waiting for 2 AND A HALF HOURS! I HIGLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!

I tried to go in at 3pm because my asthma is giving me trouble but I’m not having a full on asthma attack so I don’t need to go to the ER (yet at least), maybe just a steroid and a nebulizer treatment or something. They turned me away without even asking me what’s wrong, saying they won’t be able to get to me today, but I can still sign in and wait. Sign in and wait for what? You just told me I wouldn’t be able to be seen today… So I guess I’m going home to wait until I do have an asthma attack and have to call an ambulance and find a last second baby sitter for my kids. What’s even the point of this place? The primary care here is good, but the urgent care is a joke. Nothing urgent or caring about it.
