Personally, I moved from downstate and I was a transfer from orthodontists. UPward was AMAZING, they were nice, funny, and they didn’t feel like you were getting your teeth pulled out like my old orthodontist. If I could give this more stars I would.

The orthodontist, completely unprompted, made several political statements in the middle of removing a permanent retainer. He then proceeded to drill the glue from my teeth with no water to cool it, causing a lot of pain. He didn’t stop when I was clearly uncomfortable. I was very disappointed because everyone else was very kind and professional.

I transferred to Upward ortho halfway through my treatment because I had moved. And I am so glad I did! When I met with Dr. Ward for the consultation, his suggested plan was thorough and included recommended procedures that would enhance the appearance of my teeth, which weren’t options at my previous orthodontist. We forecasted that the remaining treatment would take a year but he was able to complete it with great results after only 8 months! I am extremely pleased with my smile and it has increased my confidence significantly.

Dr. Ward and his staff were friendly and engaging and you can tell they care about sharing their knowledge and helping you take the best care of yourself for the long term. They were also quick to fix the immediate orthodontic issue I was having and did a great job explaining costs and options for future care. I appreciate the responsiveness and quality of the work that was completed and am grateful their services are available in the Copper Country and recommend this business to anyone in need of orthodontic care.
