Although the facility is not that appealing, the nursing staff and other employees are caring and friendly. What should AND does matter to me is knowing that loved ones are being taken care of and respected during their stay in the hospital. And FYI, If u live in the City of NEW ORLEANS U ARE GOING TO SEE ROACHES. Also they are in renovation process and soon will be able to prove how nice the home is for some people with a lower income. Thanks for reading this review and I give them 3 1/2 Stars.

The younger aides were helpful and respected my not wanting to mingle. I didn't like shower time because I felt so exposed.and cold. After a few days I was able to talk with the important staff and things got better. I'm a light sleeper and the place is noisy especially the nurse's station. Also the nurses pushed so hard when they would come in the door it frightened me and gave me a headache. This place was the only one that I could get it's, everything else was full! Not my first choice.

This place is run by lazy incompetent fools who have no order whatsoever. My family member has been there for about four months and every time I talk to them they are complaining about how their personal items are either being stolen by the staff or a resident who lives there. My family member has had their clothing placed in another person's closet on SEVERAL occasions and has even seen someone wearing their clothes! When you bring up issues that your family member is having they give you the ole "we apologize and we'll look in to it" bit and inturn don't do anything about it. They take forever to get the patient out of the bed and don't even bother pressing the call button, the response time is ridiculous and I have been there to witness this first hand. My heart aches to know my love one is in this place. He has been there for a few months by now, he lost about 40 pounds, wears someone elses clothes cz everything that was his got stolen! Staff is rude and when he gets thirsty and wants to drink water specially at night, the staff is lazy to bring him water. They dont keep up with the residents personal hygine. This place is awful! I DO NOT recommend this place at all. 😔

I'm a short-term stay at this facility and honestly this place is really bad , I can't get the supplies that I need to care for a sore that is not exactly something to play around with , I had to bring my own medical tape just to do wound care because " they aren't allowed to leave supplies in a patient's room" which makes absolutely no sense at all . Another thing , the night shift doesn't do a Damn thing at all ,I hit my call light and for 45min I sat and waited ....I finally got up outta bed and went to the nursing desk , the lady at the Damn desk is so asleep it takes me yelling at her to wake her lazy self up for her to not even help me with what was need . Also patient's don't get there own shower in there room .... Why the hell not I ask , I can't go shower in a place were every oth
