UPMC Yorktowne Urology

I just happened across all of these negative review and frankly, I don't believe them. I have been going to YorkTown Urology for a few years now and I have always been pleased with my care. The CRNP the I see is Tana Gonzalez, and she is a GEM! I had this bothersome medical situation for years and doctors didn't help much. BUT..... Tana helped me out enormously.

Highly recommend finding another urologist than the doctors here. Relocated to the area recently and was truely amazed at how bad this office is. Over the years have moved around the US for my job, and have had seen some amazing doctors and some okay ones, but this is by far the worst. Should have read the reviews before coming here.

I was hoping the reviews were not accurate. Welp they are. I came here to be treated for Left-sided hydronephrosis. I’ve been in horrendous pain since oct with my kidney swelling and backed up urine. She denied me care saying basically it was all in my head and nothing was wrong with me. When I have my scans that documented and SHOWED my condition. RUN away from this place. The doctor “Tana G” needs her license pulled. I’m sure the response will be “that’s not what happened” everyone be sure to advocate for yourself. Don’t let these quacks lie to you.

My wife had surgery and after 3 weeks start pain and I call the office and I explain a issues and they end call I think it may some network issues so I call again they received call I provide patient information and say they cannot do anything until next appointment and hang a phone . I call back again the lady on phone angry and should to me and hang a call so this place is good or trash for treatment? Doctors and nurses is nice , explain everything details and say call if anything come but an others staff are trash good for nothing . Too poor management and unqualified and untrained . If get referral please think after treatment have any issues this providers cannot retreat you in between appointments and emergency for issues. Massage cannot reach to doctor . Think before get problems.

I tried for 3 days to get through for an appointment. I left messages with no return phone call, was on hold for 20 minutes without them ever answering and was then disconnected. This practice is highly unprofessional and if they can't answer their phones or return phone calls, they should be the LAST physician you would want to treating you.
