UPMC Western Maryland Outpatient Diagnostic Center

Visited your outpatient center in Cumberland md today. Actually, just leaving now. Was given a number. Told to set. Sat for half an hour. Seen 7 people come after me, get service, then leave. Go to the front desk. Girl there has done nothing but chat. Gave my number back. Was apologized to for my number being skipped. They went from 44 to 47 to 56 to 49to 56. You get the picture. Wasn’t offered a new number. Wasn’t offered service. Just sorry. So I left. Will find another place that offers treatment. My money all spends the same no matter where I go but you can bet it won’t be at any wmhs buildings or businesses. Avoid this place which will charge you more than comparable places around town.

Been here multiple times, always had a decent wait and experience. Today they were on their game, got in and out quick for blood work it was packed when I got there and in less than 45 minutes it was empty and everyone being seen/ helped. Kudos to you all for the wonderful service!

Left a message to schedule an appointment 4 days ago. Still no call back. I guess I need an appointment to schedule an appointment... Again... How are people supposed to work like this?

I had an appointment for a Sinus CT scan and it was so efficient! My CT tech was Kathleen Heinrich and she was so kind! As you know a CT scan takes less than 5 minutes, however she made sure I was comfortable in that short amount of time and even offered a blanket because she noticed my goosebumps! We need more hospital folks like Kathleen!

I've only had one bad experience here. When I was pregnant in 2022, I guess the lady was having a bad day. But mentally it stressed me out and pregnant too. She was mad at me cause she called me to come in. I did come in when I was supposed to. When I was supposed to go to the lady at the desk, she was all mad at me. Like I messed up idk. I didn't say anything back to her. I hope I never have that experience again. Luckily after her being mad at me, I did get my name called for an ultrasound.They are pretty quick in 2024. It's like a DMV, you get a ticket and wait for your ticket to be called. It's organized I love it. For an appointment or a testing to do anytime that time. I usually don't have to wait long. They still forcing mask but what can you do?
