I had an outstanding experience at Specialty Care York Endoscopy. From the front desk staff at check-in to the nurses and Dr. Rahul Sao, everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and dedicated. What impressed me most was the level of detail in their instructions. They guided me carefully from my very first consultation through the entire preparation process for the colonoscopy. Every step was explained perfectly. As someone for whom English is a second language and who isn't familiar with medical terminology, I was initially worried. However, the entire team was so patient and supportive, taking the extra time to ensure I understood everything clearly. Their dedication to patient care is truly 5++ stars. Highly recommended for anyone.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GI OFFICE Absolutely worst experience ever. Dr abbas diagnosed me w an umbrella, diagnosis of IBS When having other major organ issues And the symptoms didn’t align with IBS. Hospital administrators told Abbas to remove my diagnosis, Abbas REFUSED. which i was told Upmc gi drs use this diagnosis as an umbrella diagnosis after they run 1-2 tests and nothing comes back. If you received this diagnosis from them seek an immediate 2nd opinion! He also didn’t order my mri properly and couldn’t fix the order for over a week when both scheduling office and I were contacting him. I was sick for a month straight unable to keep water in and he gave a medication with very common issue of getting sick again. He doesn’t care about his patients nor does Upmc! WILL BE RELEASING MORE IN

UPMC, as a whole, is horrible. In general, they don't care about you but this office takes the apathy cake. Nobody answers the phone. They take their time when responding to you and they can be rude. They don't want to hear from you or care about any of your concerns. Doctors go missing for months without any prior notice. I had to wait months to speak to someone who as on maternity leave and the other doctors wouldn't give me any information because I was her patient and then she never returned so I had to get another doctor, make an appointment with them, wait a month for the visit and then was contacted by a different doctor at the hospital to make an appointment. Of course, I had to wait another month for that visit. They don't want to be there and they, definitely, don't want you to b

Husband was there for a procedure on the 14th- dropped him off, ran our daughter to where she needed to be, returned in 15min- went to “Denise” at the front desk and requested to go back with him to speak to anesthesia prior to his procedure- they refused and said “he would have needed to request me to come back”- I asked them to relay that to him- he had a medical emergency earlier in the day that was a concern- Denise refused- said she would speak to his nurse and never communicated to me again in the waiting room. He wasn’t given any options for anesthesia- being his 1st ever experience with anesthesia and ANY procedure ever- he went in uninformed and never was asked ANYTHING for him to be able to relay what happened earlier with his medical emergency- especially since he was unconsciou

Everything was okay until the actual doctor came in. It was very clear he was in a hurry. Was talking a mile a minute, asking me questions I couldn't even respond to before he started nodding and impatiently asking me more questions. Just his demeanor had me crying in his office. I had to ask him to stop and listen to me. It's sad because I have Celiac and some other very serious issues. I really needed an appointment and was so looking forward to it. Just awful. Rushed, rude and horrible.
