Impossible to reach this office directly unless you jump through unnecessary hoops. Timely responses seem to happen only when there’s something they can bill to insurance. The front-office staff is consistently unhelpful, dismissive, and openly condescending. If you’re on Medicaid, expect to be treated like you’re receiving a “free service.” The office manager in particular appears to believe that patients on state benefits are somehow beneath her—despite the fact that Medicaid is not charity, medical care is not free, and UPMC absolutely profits from these visits. Never went to this facility but was scheduled today for an MRI on my spine. Facility very clean, accessible, on ground floor, all the people were very, very sweet, pleasant. I got there early so Paula checked me in, very friendly, nice, checked me in early, taken in a timely manner. Both young ladies were so sweet and nice. Kayla MRI tech just a sweetheart! The other beautiful young lady with dark hair was just as sweet. It made a not so pleasant test worth the trouble. Thank you to all UPMC staff. I haven't had this test for years because of old nerve stimulator was not compatible but the upgraded version is. A convenient place for bloodwork… but make sure you call before venturing out in this frigid weather… went there today,,, not doing labs today because the phlebotomist is off today… seriously… you don’t employee a back up? This is the 3rd time it’s happened to my family… why bother to offer this service?

Extreme slow results to get x rays. We were told it could take a month for the readings yet there were no warnings about this before hand or I would have gone somewhere else.

I have been going to the UPMC outpatient center on Manheim Pike for many years. I find the facility to be easy access, clean and convenient. Dr. Sisbarro and her staff have always been open, kind, good-natured and very professional. Dr. Sisbarro takes her time during my visits and has never let me down when I ask a question, always answering with patience. Finally, I like the convenience of doing many of my tests and blood work in the same building.
