UPMC Neurosurgery

I had surgery for the removal cyst in the cerebellum back in March 2024, by Dr. Bart Thaci. He always advocates for me , Very approachable, highly intelligent, the office staff is always greets and works with me. I do not trust anyone surgeon but him. If i could give more stars i would .

Had back surgery in 2020. While things got a little better things have not gotten worse, which was the purpose of the surgery. Dr. Eseonu was very knowledgeable and explained all aspects benefits v risks and made me very comfortable. All the staff were professional, polite, and friendly.

Dr. Eseonu was not interested regarding my diagnosis concerns and desire to discuss treatment options. Dr. Eseonu made me feel like I was wasting his time and that he wasn’t sure why I was seeing him when he only specializes in trigeminal nerve surgeries. Dr. Eseonu was impersonal, did not actively listen and his physician bedside manner was absolutely cold and rude. Lastly, he made a referral for me, after I stated that this was not necessary and indicated that I was not within UPMC’s market. Market?

The staff are very personable and kind. Every time I go or even call in they know details about me without looking at my chart. They are always friendly and took excellent care of me in a time of anxiety. I will definitely recommend them above others.

This is a poor excuse for a medical office. The office staff does not do their job and they will just lie to you father than get off their butts and work.
