Absolutely do not recommend dr verma for anything or anyone she makes diagnosis based off her opinion she refuses to do more testing or investigation into anything that her opinion doesn’t match and will end the visit and dismiss any questions that she doesn’t want to answer or the patient doesn’t agree with she also came to the room 40 mins later after waiting she didn’t apologize and gave us 10mins and she ended the visit because we didn’t agree with her opinion and had further questions
Run away...I went to this facility for pain in my back. The doctor saw me for about 15 minutes and sent me home with some exercises. I receive a bill for $200. I went to another facility because I was still having pain and they did more for me than this doctor and charged me a lot less, even with an Xray. When I called billing around 12/28/19, I was told she would send my concerns to the office. 1/13/20 I still didn't hear anything so I called the office and spoke with Patty to complain about not being told their charges up front and being charged such an exorbitant amount for 15 minute. She ran down all the stuff she said she did, one was sending an order for more testing. Evidently she didn't do this as I never received a call to schedule appointments for these testings. Called as a new patient to see someone about my chronic headaches and worsening symptoms as my PC has done little to nothing to help. Was told I need a referral with my PPO. Got the referral a week later and called back to schedule an appointment sat on hold for 45 minutes someone answered the phone and then just hung up on me. All I said was hello. I’m not hopeful. Or they have seen my medical chart and don’t like to help people of color not sure?! .Edit* called back again to schedule an appointment and got hung up on again. Literally said nothing. Called a third time and left a message for call back. At this point I’m waiting 48 hours and I’m just going to physically drive there. I’ve never had an issue with a doctors office or health care provider until now.
I was a patient there years back and left due to my dr. not wanting to take recommendations from my Dr. at Hopkins for my Sjogren's Syndrome that affects me neurological. She actually yelled at me for at least 10-15 minutes saying she "won't be barked at!". So bye-bye! Now, my husband's family dr. referred him there for possible sleep apnea. He had a sleep test in February, was told they would call him with results. Months passed! He called them, got transferred around, left messages, NO RESPONSE! He called numerous times, finally spoke to someone. There was no explanation as to why the total disregard and lack of follow up on their part when they told him he does have sleep apnea! Someone calls a few weeks later to start the order on his cpap machine. A few days later Someone else calls
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The physician I saw showed concern and a desire to help my situation. The only downside of this facility is the phone. You have to call the other office and get transferred. Sometimes the phone at the other office just rings and rings no matter when you call and you have to leave your number for a call back. I can't believe that they are so busy they can't answer the phone.
