UPMC Lititz

Had a hysterectomy there this past Wednesday and the staff was wonderful. The nurses and support staff were attentive but allowed time for rest. They helped take away the fear I had before the surgery and made sure I was comfortable after. The doctors came in and explained everything again and made sure I was ready to go. The food service workers were amazing as well.

5+ stars, from the moment my extremely kind patient care tech, Angelica, took me back for pre-op, I knew I was in good hands. Then there was Shelby, my amazing kind nurse, my fantastic discharge nurse (so sorry I forgot her name), and finally Dr. Livingston who took the time to pop in and meet me before the procedure. Everyone was amazing and took extreme care and was so super nice. My minor surgery was quick and I had instant relief of my symptoms. My discharge nurse even braving the cold to make sure I got out to my ride safely. Also a shout out to the amazing front desk lady checking me in that had us laughing and relaxed before hand. Not a single time was I worried about the procedure. Amazing staff. Will absolutely go there if I need anything again in the future. Thank you for taking

Had a walk-in emergency. Check in lady was professional, courteous, and pleasant. All caregivers in the emergency area were attentive and caring and explained everything they needed to do to get me back in good health. After several hours I was released and on track for a healthy recovery. After several days following doctors orders, I was much better.

My husband had a shoulder replacement this week and spent one night in the hospital. Everything about his stay was incredible. From the lady who checked us in, the regular alerts and contact with me during the procedure, the one-night stay and even the hospital food. A+ I was blown away that the nursing staff take the time to get to know the names of family members, something I had never experienced before. The level of patient attentiveness was unparalleled. Thank you so much!

My son has very tiny veins and is a hard blood draw. We were treated with upmost care and they did everything in their ability to make the CAT scan with contrast go better than could be expected. Thanks to all there helping keep him distracted while they searched for veins. Also treating him with respect for the young man he is and not treating him like a baby. It will be worth driving an hour to get blood work done at this location whenever we have that need. Thanks for your care.
