UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in TWICE in one week presenting with signs of a sinus infection. Explained my symptoms (including, but not limited to) congestion, runny nose, fever, occasional vomiting, and “it feeling like there’s an elephant on my chest.” The first time, they tested me for flu and covid (both negative) and sent me home with an anti-nausea medication. The second time (2 days later) they sent me home with Mucinex, Flonase, and a saline nasal spray. They told me that I had to wait at least 10-21 days to determine a “sinus infection.” My friend (got sick THE SAME DAY as me) went in the same day and was given an antibiotic fo a sinus infection. Shitty facility, shitty provider. Went on a day when they would have an x-ray tech, the provider I saw, didn’t order an x-ray, said I had plantar fasciitis. Saw my pcp who ordered foot and ankle x-rays, and was shocked urgent care didn’t do an x-ray. I don’t have plantar fasciitis, I have a different issue which needed an x-ray to diagnose, and a referral to a specialist, which could have been done weeks ago, had the provider just ordered the x-ray instead of guessing what the issue was.

The nurses and doctors seemed so concerned helpful caring and polite. Always asking if I wanted or needed something and so polite, thank you for your care, kindness, and help to get me through my surgery, thank you 😊, Scott Orndoff

I was so appreciative to be able to get in so quickly at this facility! I was seen at my scheduled time, my paperwork was taken care of efficiently and the doctor was wonderful and thorough in answering my questions.

Was seen here at UPMC urgent care in waynesburg 48 hours ago. They ended up not having anyone there to do an x-ray. I had to go to UPMC Greene for my x-ray. I called urgent care yesterday and was told no results from my x-ray yet. I called again today and was told they haven’t seen any results yet and that provider hasn’t been there since Thursday. What difference does that make?!?! No one else there to give me my results!?!? I called UPMC Greene radiology department and they resent the results to urgent care while I was on the phone with them. The hospital is not allowed to give me the results. Let’s see how long it takes Urgent Care to call me with the results. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Please find a better place to go.
