UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care

I interacted with 3 staff members and they were all great. The girl at the sign in desk was very friendly and helpful. She had roses for her birthday and I enjoyed chatting with her. The nurse (Chandra?) was equally nice. Personable and good at assessing my concerns and making me feel cared for. Lisa the doctor was great. She inspired confidence with her interactions: treating me with concern during the exam, making an assessment of my condition, testing my heart and making a call to send me to the ER. I was delighted with the services and the staff... I don't recall ever going to critical care before, but based on the care and treatment I received here.... I say thank you and A+ for the team that was in place the day I needed them.

My family and I were visiting my mom from Florida when we caught a cold. I found this place on google based on nearest urgent care to where I was staying. Not being from here, I had zero faith that this would go well. Boy was I impressed! Everyone was top notch. Polite, attentive, informative, professional and respectful. We were in and out in less than 2 hours with scripts already waiting at the pharmacy! I would absolutely recommend this urgent care to anyone in need.

The American people are such in a rush to go nowhere! My appointment was at 1:00pm, arrived at 12:30pm. Was taken back to a room at 2:00pm. Nurse informed me there were two patients ahead of me that the doctor was seeing.Doctor came in at 2:40pm and diagnosed the issue within minutes. Waited on paperwork and left the facility at 3:30pm. The doctor was amazing! I asked about X-rays. Doctor said what for? I already know what the results would be. Oh, ok! Lisa Helfrich, PA-C was a blessing and reminded me of a country doctor that could diagnose you coming in the door! So, if you don’t want to wait on excellence I guess you will just remain sick when you go home and accomplish nothing. Now that’s a waist of time! I’m better now in a day! So glad I waited for the best care giver in town! Thank

I do not recommend this urgent care. I understand a long wait but I waited an hour in the waiting room, finally got taken back and was left in the room for another hour and no one came back. They told me they would do a rapid strep test and tell me the results when the doctor came in. The doctor was very rushed and just gave me a prescription that I didn’t need. I later found out I was strep positive and they never told me.

Been going there a couple times for workers comp DONT go here. They don’t want to fix the issue. And they tried to send you somewhere else for more care. Well, they were very unorganized. Told me the doc I needed to see works at 2 locations said I should go to the fist location for first visit. Ended up getting there and upmc go had printed the incorrect address on my after visit summary for me to go to. And wasted time. called back and just gave me even more of a hard time when I was trying to see what happened. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. complete waste of time
