UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics – Harrisburg

I recently switched from the Camp Hill location to the Harrisburg location and changed providers. Our previous provider was great however I believe she had so many patients which is good but at the same time it clouded her attention and care to my children as her patients. Christina Howard Is our new provider and has taken significantly great care of my children noticing things I had complained about to our previous provider without it being taken into consideration. I am extremely grateful for this provider and her attention to detail and her willingness to help and share certain things that made my children’s life a bit better. Thank you so much for the care we are grateful. The office is always clean and super organized.

My son sees the CRNP here and I’ve never been more impressed with a pediatric doctor. She talks him, she’s real with him, and makes sure he understands the plan. So happy we switched!

While I can speak highly about the doctor at this office, I cannot speak highly about the manner in which I experienced a recent appointment. Not only did I not get to see a doctor until 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, but while I was waiting in the office, a commercial production team OPENED the door and took photographs of the room while I was in there with my child. (Hello have you heard of HIPPA?! This should not be done during business hours let alone WHILE A PATIENT IS IN THE ROOM) to plan filming for an upcoming commercial. Not only that, but the cabinets are not child proofed. While I was filling out a survey ahead of the appointment on an iPad given to me in the office, my child opened a lower cabinet door and when I went over to close it and remove him from the a

I transferred from Hershey to this facility due to lack of empathy for children and it was the best decision for my family. This facility takes time with your child and during immunizations, they do it as to where your child isn't frightened. 5 stars for caring for my son ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely amazing office the Harrisburg location is the only one I will see. They are amazing with my children and always make me feel comfortable and treat my kids the absolute best. Love all the Harrisburg staff and doctors. 10/10 would recommend this office to anyone. Thank you for y’all that you guys do for my children.
