UPMC Carlisle

October 1st 2025 I delivered my son at UPMC Carlisle women’s health. Every single nurse and midwife was amazing. I had 100% natural birth and those ladies got me through it. They were absolutely respectful of my birth plan and things we did and did not want for our birth and our child. They helped me stick to my goals even when I started to doubt myself they were so considerate and kind. Totally different experience from my first child with a military hospital. I am extremely grateful for this hospital and UPMC in new Cumberland also as they were my primary up to delivery. I felt safe, cared for, and respected!

My family member was in the ICU at this hospital. Both he and our family re ceived the best care possible for his grave medical condition. The team was very competent, compassionate, confident, communicative and present during our entire experience. The doctors, nurses, and chaplain were all top notch. In the end he was taken off life support and the team was very supportive and worked closely with the Gift of Life program for organ donation while supporting my family thru the process. Keep up the good work. Your hospital is spotless. Thank you all for your expertise and caring.

I used to despise this place, but after last night, I take it all back. From the amazing PCT at check in, to the triage nurse, to the nurses in the back. They were SO amazing with our daughter. I wish I remembered the names of the PCT and the triage nurse. Our nurses Kylee (sp) and Faith were SO sweet and they truly all deserve recognition! They were quick and so caring. Kylee especially. She went way above and beyond and you all should be so proud she's one of your nurses! Thank you for making my baby feel so much better

This hospital is disgusting!! I never wanted to come here in the first place. Newville ambulance insisted I had to come to UPMC CARLISLE. That PO me right off. Damn expensive ride for not getting my choice of hospitals. This place is a dump,the care is minimal @ best. Sat for 7 hrs just to be told After many tubes of blood an a CT scan couldn't find anything wrong. Just can't breath that's All! An the so called Dr,if he even is a certified physician, couldn't even give a hoot! DON'T COME TO THIS HOSPITAL!! I will never again let Newville Ambulance take me here,,,,,,Ever again!!

My name is Tanijah, let me start by saying this place should have a way higher rating! I loved my experience, I had my first planned C-section and was very scared given my past history with pregnancies, they were so supportive and helpful, the Read my chart and wanted me to have the best and most comfortable experience possible ! The people are bubbly, caring and genuine! This was my first time here and my first successful full term baby, they played gospel music for me in the OR, reassured me that we were going to celebrate a birthday ! They were happy to answer any questions I had without any attitude, Dr Winn and her assistant Dr.Keller did a lovely job with my surgery, even my pain 24 hours after wasn’t bad ! My support nurse Luck was so amazing and sweet and held my hand the whole way
