University of Maryland Urgent Care - Kent Island

First time to visit this location. I wound up just walking in. There was about a one hour wait since only one doctor was onsite. You can make appointments also to help speed up the process. The facility is located right off Rte 50 in the Kent Town Market shopping center. The place was very clean and organized. The staff were courteous and helpful. When I did meet with the Dr, she was nice and knowledgeable. The whole process, aside from the long wait, was very easy. I will definitely come back to this location should I require medical assistance in the future.

Not trying to brag, but given my having a chronic illness, coupled with poor life choices in general, this is my most visited urgent care center. Yes, I've seen my fair share, and a couple of yours, too. Back to the point: Very professional, yet with grace, humor, and humanity. The attitudes across the board are positive and helpful. I ramble, and the practitioner was able to calm and focus my responses. I call that above and beyond, and great people skills.

I recently had a pre-op physical at the Kent Island Urgent Care. The welcoming and caring feeling I received during check in and check was the best. Thank you Jennifer Patrick for taking such great care of me.

Recently, I needed to come in one evening when I was less than a week postpartum. Jasmine, Sue, Kristen, and Kim were so helpful and calming while they checked my blood pressure and helped me understand the reading. They were fabulous and I appreciate them so much!

I am new to Kent Island and had only been in my home less than 2 months. On a Monday, 3 Nov, when my husband was at work 50 miles away, my dog charged another dog while I was walking her. My wrist was tangled in the leash and I was thrown into the road. My husband returned home and we went to the UofM Urgent Care. I cannot say enough about Courtney the Nurse Practitioner. Jen the Radiology Technician, and Janel the Medical Assistant. I am older and I was scared not knowing anyone on the island. They treated me with great care and knew exactly what they were doing. Although I ended up having a break on both sides of my wrist, Courtney kept it very upbeat with me and it helped me so much with my anxiety. She provided me with a referal to an orthopaedic doctor in case I wanted to go in
