I waited 9 hours to be seen or even given any pain medication, while bleeding and lying down crying in the floor with a broken nose, broken tooth and face lacerations. I spent a total of 13 hours at this emergency room where nobody seemed concerned in the slightest to assist me. I have never in my entire life experienced service as horrible as this. Unless you have literally no other option available I HIGHLY recommend never setting foot in that emergency room.
Only gave it one star bc I couldn’t give it zero. If you love your family, do NOT bring them or let them go to this hospital!! My dad was airlifted there on 8-13 at 3 am due to a serious fall. Once we were able to go to the back and see him, the staff told us they did a FULL BODY scan. No brain bleed or skull fracture. The doctor wanted an MRI, but had to call it in due to some implants he had. We waited from 4 am to 10 pm for the MRI. All bc none of the staff called anything in. Not once!! The very last doctor to come on was the one to call everything in, after we asked to be transferred to another hospital, due to the lack of care of the staff. Not to mention how rude they were bc he was in so much pain. Once he finally got the MRI, they released him, saying it was just torn ligaments in
This place is absolutely terrible. We came here on vacation, and two days in, I woke up unable to breathe. I rushed to the closest place for help and was immediately taken back for an EKG and X-ray—then shoved right back into the waiting room. I asked when I would be seen again and explained I couldn’t breathe, assuming they’d at least give me a breathing treatment. Instead? Nothing. I was told by the older blonde woman at the front desk that I was just having a panic attack. I explained I’ve previously been told I might have asthma, and she snapped back, “Have you been diagnosed?” When I said no, she told me not to diagnose myself and insisted I was fine. Meanwhile, I was visibly struggling to breathe. TWO HOURS passed and I was still sitting there, gasping for air while they did absolute
I called for pain meds over an hour ago no one has even checked on me. I unplugged all my own wires just so I can go to the bathroom. This place is not recommended for emergencies.
This has been the worst experience I have had at an emergency center. A friend fell and hit her head. I got her to the university emergency center at 8:30pm. It is now 6:00 am. The staff had said no one can take of my friend until maybe 7:00am. They was a car accident earlier which caused a back up on care but that was taken care of 2 hours ago. There are 31 people and counting waiting for medical care.
