Universal Dental At Johns Crk

I had a wonderful experience at Universal dental. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The doctor and rest of the staff took good care of me. I’m glad I found a great dental office near me.

This dental office has extremely poor appointment management. I never canceled my appointment, but due to their own administrative mistake, my appointment was canceled without my consent. When I arrived on the day of my scheduled visit, I was told that my appointment had been canceled and that they could not see me, so I was asked to leave. When I called to ask for an explanation, they said the phone had been answered by a different staff member and that there was nothing they could do. They charge patients a $50 no-show fee if someone does not show up, yet when a patient loses time and is inconvenienced because of their own error, they simply expect the patient to accept it and come back another day. This feels very unfair and unprofessional. I would not recommend this office unless they

My most recent visit, all of the receptionists and dentists were so friendly and welcoming!

Be aware. They dont specify whether they take insurance as in network or out of network and charged my insurance $155 just for an exam. Very misleading and fraudulent. This isn’t including xrays or cleaning.

I had prior trust issues with other dentist locations (especially korean) because there were so many problems. But this location is very professional and walk you through each option. I did a thorough deep cleaning this afternoon and am very thankful for the team. And they give personal recommendations on post-care :)
