Unitek College South San Francisco Campus

I began the medical assisting program in October of 2024 and needless to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I was able to gain plenty of hands on experience and developed great connections in my time being here. If I could take the program over again I would in a heartbeat. They assisted me along my journey to stabilizing a job in the field!

My experience at Unitek College was great. I had two amazing teachers Ms. Monte’s and Mrs.L, who throughout my whole journey at Unitek gave me nothing but very much support and encouragement to keep going. Ms.Monique, was very helpful as well in helping me in my resume, submit applications for jobs, and prepare myself for any future interviews I get. Overall, I am very grateful with the amount of help I got at Unitek and the techniques I got taught for my future. Very much recommend this school to anyone who wants to join the medical field.

Loved my experience and the lovely instructor Mrs. L. She was always there by our side making sure we received the help and knowledge needed to succeed, same with my online instructor Ms. Yvonne. Ms. Montes and Ms. Monique were also a good support making sure we were set and ready once it was time for externship. Overall the staff that were by my side helping me succeed in my program for my career as a MA.

I spent two days in person, with the rest of the program being online, and it was a hands-on, fast-paced experience. Coming to Unitek helped me rapidly develop my Medical Assistant skills within just a few months. I learned so much, from administering injections and taking vitals to effectively communicating with patients. The staff at Unitek is incredibly welcoming and always willing to help, making the experience even more valuable.

I recently attended this college and everything was great for me from Ms. Montes was great she was one on my instructors and her attitude is very intimidating but it’s helpful because she gives you that extra push to let you know you can get it done. Mrs. L is also wonderful very chill but get work done attitude she’s on top of you to get work done and complete your assignments. Ms. Monique was also big help to me when it came to the time of interviewing practicing with her was big help because her feedback was helpful to see what you had to get done to sound more professional. In general everything at Unitek SSF was incredible in my experience.
