Got in a car wreck there. Top notch treatment and the staff actually treat you like a human being. Raynee knew our vehicle was totaled and contacted s.s who helped us get a room until our family came. Ray the pastor there is a life saver and goes out of his way! Edit: after I posted this I got yet another bill for $3500 bringing the grand total to $12,000 for three stitches and a CT scan. I asked to pay my bill in full before leaving the emergency room and was charged $1350 for a CT scan and 3 stitches. I thought that was pretty reasonable until they mailed me a bill for $6150 and another for $900. I was told that the discrepancy in the amounts was because I had a "trauma level 5 activation". This is rather hard to believe considering I walked in without assistance, no trauma team was ever in my presence, I wasn't actively bleeding, I didn't receive an IV, and my doctor's note said that I could return to work the next day where I operate a commercial vehicle. This is a clear cut case of medical upcoding, which is illegal.

I was processed, brought back immediately, and the staff here are extremely kind, professional and attentive. I appreciate you folks very much. Thank you.

I don't understand how a town can only have one hospital. Considering they cover so many counties. I was there a year and a half ago and was bleeding from a colonoscopy and they did nothing for two hours till I crashed and then they took care of me. When I tried to talk to the hospital advocate I was told they would send the message up but they don't have to talk to me no more. My wife just got out of the hospital she was in there 5 days. She was not given a bath, her open sore dressing was not changed. Her bed was not changed. this all happened within 5 days. I understand that they're busy but if you can't take care of a patient with simple stuff ,what are we supposed to do. Took my 8 year old for he was experiencing fever spikes as high as 103.7 WITH medication. Brought him in and they had his fever broke within the hour as well as a diagnosis. They were EXTREMELY kind and gentle with my boy and kept us well informed the entire time.
