United Nursing College

I am a fourth semester student here at UNC and highly recommend this school! United Nursing College has been an incredible experience for me. Their program is challenging, but it truly prepares students for passing the NCLEX and for the real nursing world. The instructors are knowledgeable and committed to helping students succeed. The small classroom ratios allow for a personal experience. The instructors genuinely care for your success. Their curriculum is designed to build strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. One of the best parts of the program is the variety of clinical experiences. Nursing school is not for the weak — and this program definitely proves that. This school will challenge you mentally, emotionally, and physically, but that’s exactly what prepares you to become a real nurse. The instructors expect a lot from you, but it’s because the responsibility we carry in healthcare is enormous. Lives are literally in our hands, and this program makes sure we understand that from day one. What stood out the most to me is how much this program pushes you to grow. It’s not just about memorizing information to pass a test — it’s about learning how to think critically, advocate for patients, and make decisions under pressure. I am a first semester student and I am about 7 weeks into my nursing education and I am absolutely loving it. All the professors, faculty and other classmates make the campus and overall environment very welcoming which contributes to how well I am learning. I would love to give a special shout out to Professor Hamel for helping me learn and going into detail when I have questions, Professor Kennedy for being so supportive and patient with me and Instructor Jones for making sure I succeed in open lab for my validation assignments.

I love this school. They have been so great staff are caring and see each student as an individual, and the culture here is a community with fellow students who support each other for success. I truly am so happy that I chose this school over all of the others in the area. I highly recommend you to choose UNC for their nursing program.
