UMD Urgent Care - LIC

I’ve been to UMD several times for services ranging from general bloodwork to X-rays, and every visit has been an excellent experience. Everyone is personable, friendly, and professional—from the front desk staff to the doctors. The check-in process is incredibly easy, and I’m usually seen very quickly. Most of the time, they bring me back within 5–10 minutes depending on patient volume, and on some visits I barely have time to sit down before being called back. The doctors are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I’ve met several of them, and each one has been great. I’m usually feeling better within 2–3 days after starting the meds they prescribe. A huge bonus is that they follow up about three days later to make sure I’m improving and to

Honestly probably the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care or doctor’s office after 7 years of living in NYC. Walked in on Saturday morning and they saw me immediately. The staff, nurses, and doctors were so incredibly kind and patient. Answered all of my questions and were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Also the space was cozy and very clean. Would recommend and would definitely come back if needed!

So convenient!! They know exactly what to !! Convenient..Especially the pharmacy right next door!! I was taken cared for very well. Thank you to the UMD team. I was not feeling well and ya’ll hopped right to it to make me better. (Thank you Ms. Excel lol, your uplifting, caring, and loving energy was a breath of fresh air and played a huge part in my healing) May God keep and bless you all. May He elevate your business. You know hospitals/clinics started thru Jesus’ missions and presence. His followers were the ones going around helping assisting and healing those in need. Especially those with leprosy. The entire staffs were incredibly friendly and efficient. I was in and out quickly, even with a busy waiting room. The doctors always follow up on labs and they are expressive and really show they care about what they do. And the front desk is always super friendly and professional! They take time to listen and answer all your questions that you may have. Highly recommend this place!

Very helpful front desk staff that was prompt and kind. Doctor was very thorough in exam and listened to everything I had to say. Explained his rationale and clinical decisions beautifully and thoroughly. Had good communication to pharmacy and no delays with care. Cheers to Dr. Ko!
