I usually feel very nervous about going to the dentist, but my experience with Dr. Jovanka Zivkovic completely changed that. I had an amazing experience,something I have never experienced before at a dental office. I came in with a dental emergency and needed a tooth extraction, which made me very nervous. However, I knew it had to be taken care of as soon as possible. From the moment you walk into the office, you don’t feel like you’re at a dental clinic at all—it feels more like a spa. The office is spotless, very welcoming, and even smells wonderful, which is definitely not what you typically expect from a dentist’s office. All of my nervousness disappeared almost immediately. I waited over a year to write this review—not because I forgot, but because I wanted to be sure. And I can confidently say: Dr. Jovanka is the best in NYC. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist. Ever. It usually feels like a chore, or worse—like you're being scolded for not flossing enough while also being upsold on a mouthguard, whitening, and a new life plan. But this office? Completely different. Whether I’ve come in for a routine cleaning or a dental emergency (yep, been there), the experience is always the same: calm, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Jovanka explains everything clearly, never rushes, and actually makes you feel like your teeth are in good hands. If you’re looking for a dentist who actually makes you want to keep your next appointment, this is the one.

I had a dental emergency and went to Dr. Mamut. She was fantastic and efficient. I live in Virginia and was at my daughter’s house in Queens. The dental office is very clean and inviting. It was the best experience I have ever had. The receptionist was very personable and extremely kind and understanding. From start to finish I rate the experience at 10. Top notch.
