UMass Memorial Medical Center - Women’s Imaging Center at Marlborough Campus

I absolutely love this center. Receptionists are very friendly, and they always have me smiling. Medical staff are very passionate about what they do. Their equipment is state of the art . I was going to another hospital where I felt like a number. Woman’s imaging Center treats you as a person . I have been seen here for the past 3 years and have recommended them to other family members and friends. .

I came across some very negative reviews when I was looking for the phone number of the imaging center. They have prompted me to write and say that I have only ever had positive experiences there over the last several years. The staff, front desk and technicians, are always friendly and helpful. Appointments are always on time. The facility is clean and spacious. I have seen men accompany their wives/mothers with no problem. So, only positive vibes from me!

Rude front desk staff. There is one person who is very nice & polite. And there is this another lady who clearly hates her job. She was very rude to my 5 year old child. I know better not to bring her to the facility like this but I had no one to watch her & she had no school & I didn’t want to cancel my mom’s Memogram. This lady was so rude to my child & no respect for old people either. Clearly this women doesn’t belong here. Other staff is very nice & polite. Hopefully this front desk person can find a job she likes & she won’t be forced to work here. I’m not bringing my mom here for any future follow ups. Please give this women eduction about patients rights. She clearly has no idea how to work in a health care. Very rude person.

I have had two visits to this office with the last being a very disrespectful experience. The intake front desk woman who was helping me was very pleasant. But her co-worker, Courtney should have minded her own business! No on asked her to interject with her patronizing comments! Clearly she is prejudice and her racism was clearly on display!!! Her comment “she has Mass Health” was unwarranted. And if I was on Mass Health, should it even matter to her?? I have had BCBS for over 25 years and was made to come there because Southboro Medical (Reliant) moved that practice. In this culture climate, Courtney should not have interaction with patients! She can benefit from unconscious bias training….I know a very reputable training program.

I took my wife here last year for a mammogram and was told that I could not wait for her inside the facility (in the waiting room out by reception) because I was a man. No males were allowed in the facility. I was told to wait in my car. I have been to other imaging sites and have never been told such a thing. We'll go elsewhere.
