Went on Sunday morning with abdominal pain and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Every interaction between registration and discharge was courteous and professional. I was seen right away and saw a doctor within 30 minutes. I was very pleased by the experience and I wanted to share my personal experience at BHC.

I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about coming here because of all the negative reviews I saw online, but I’m so glad I trusted my instincts. When I arrived, it was fairly empty, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Dr. Derek Weiss is truly one of the best. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I’m honestly sad I didn’t get to thank him in person for everything. My nurse was also amazing, I wish I remembered her name. The care I received was exceptional, and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. Dr. Weiss made sure to check everything, he really dots every “i” and crosses every “t.” Doctors like him are rare these days, and I truly appreciate the level of care he provided. Watch out for the charges this place pulls “emergency” was charged twice on my daughters bills when I called to ask why that is, I was told the building charges for the emergency visit itself (understandable) but the doctor also charges you for the visit??? Make that make sense. It’s not a private practice. There are completely separate charges for the care, and x rays that were done that’s totally fine with me but I could not get over 2 same charges for “emergency admittance”. These were not small charges either HUNDREDS of dollars, just absolutely ridiculous. My daughter and I were also there, and I had to use the restroom because it had been hours, opened the door in our room and it was DISGUSTING.

This ER is amazing every time I have came here I have been treated like I am President Obama. I receive top notch service from the receptionist to the doctor... I want to say thank you all for taking care of me when I am not feeling well

I remember being here a few years ago. I’m seeing the up and down comments, some good and some bad. It’s hard to say whether this facility really is shit or not. When I went at the time, I required immediate stitches and got them done within 20-30 minutes. Another time I went, I had a very bad infected ingrown toenail, the wait wasn’t long and they x rayed the toe. Ended up telling the doctor to squeeze the puss which was the main problem- due to it adding a ton of pressure. This facility is good and bad… I guess it depends on what you’re going for. I will say, I do not like how staff treat people who are mentally ill. Doctors/workers need more training on what to say and not say to people who are down in a ditch. If you’re going for mental health issues- I don’t recommend them at
