UF Health Jacksonville Pharmacy

Maybe it was the day and time that I went, but, I haven't been here in about 9 years and back then you'd have to stand in line for at least an hour EVERY time. This time I was in and out in less than 15 minutes!! It was clean, I was able to sit down and wait without worrying about losing my place in line, or mysterious substances on the chairs available to sit on. Overall, it was one of the more pleasant experiences I've had at ANY pharmacy in 20 years.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY picking up my Rx refill. Young female at the ambulatory pharmacy window, Skyler?, was clearly devoid of any customer service. Flat affect, and clear disinterest in dealing with customers today. Husband never had an issue with picking up my med for me but today I get the wrong person. I prepaid she it didn't show that I did so I paid again. She said my ID info wasn’t in the EMR so she had to re-enter my drivers license info in again? The medication requires cold packing, and has always previously been done but not today. I asked for the cold packing and she responded “I’ll have to find someone to do that” while clearly annoyed. She then STILL placed my medication into a brown paper bag to give to me. I again, stated it needed to be cold packed at which ti

Better than nothing but very inconvenient. Their automated medication system needs a huge overhaul. After receiving several messages that it was ready I arrived only to be told that nothing is available. If this wasn't all the time it wouldn't be so bad. But I just don't understand why they use this unreasonable system.

Anytime I have a problem and I speak with a pharmacist.. I think her name is Shantel Brown she was really awesome she explained things to me and didn't act like she was in a hurry. And not only her other pharmacists as well I just can't remember their name

Absolutely ridiculous line for a pharmacy you're going to sit for over an hour to get your prescription. They have more security than they do staff members working on shortening the line. Line was so long i had to wait outside
