UCSF Benioff Children's Physicians Bancroft Pediatrics

I am very disappointed with the service we received at the front desk today. The receptionist, Ellie, was unprofessional and lacked basic customer care. We arrived willing to pay cash for the consultation, and although we were only about five minutes from the late arrival cutoff, she refused to check us in or offer any reasonable solution. Her tone and attitude came across as dismissive and unfriendly, which was surprising and concerning for a pediatric clinic where families are often already stressed. I initially thought she might be the office manager due to how firm she was, but regardless of position, patients and parents deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. I hope the clinic addresses front desk customer service, as first impressions matter greatly in healthcare settings

I grew up going to this pediatrician office and now my daughters are seen here as well , The customer service has always been great. The attention that my daughter's doctor gives her during her visit is amazing and makes my teenager feel comfortable talking to her. I appreciate the staff and the way that they run this office. I highly recommend this Pediatric office.

I do not recommend this Pediatrician office. The office did not function well as a whole. I asked to complete my paperwork for my child’s visit outside of the appointment and the not so very kind and super sassy receptionist basically said I could not leave the office until I completed the paperwork. This totally doesn’t make sense to me because I’ve been to appointments where the paperwork could be completed outside and dropped off at the office. Another receptionist, who was very kind Celsa, and made my experience as pleasant as it could be given the terrible circumstances, explain that I actually could complete the paperwork before hand and drop it off. It felt like the other receptionist was just not in the know how yet she was the one at the front dealing with patients when they first

I honestly can't say anything about the pediatrics as a whole. I switched my children to this office and was met by extremely rude unpleasantry. The clerk was snarky and made me so uncomfortable I switched my children to a different pediatrician before they could even be seen. I was shocked to be met with this kind of energy at a children's doctor. Gentleness and kindness should be mandatory especially dealing with the children patients and families.
