CityHealth - San Leandro

This was the first time I’ve gone to City Health Urgent Care. I liked that I could make an appointment. Check in was good and smooth. The reception person was very friendly and professional. However, even with my appointment, I had over a 1.5 hour wait. Once I was called into the exam room, the assistant came shortly after to intake my information. I then had almost a 45 minute wait for the provider to see me. My visit was to follow up on my condition which was improving, so my time with the provider was perhaps 10–15 minutes. My main issue with this facility is the wait time to receive medical attention.

Recent visit and the staff is amazing they treat and really care for people in general ,there really people that care for the sick. Susana quezada is amazing knows what she’s doing very professional and you can see she really cares for people and gives them excellent treatment. Would definitely go back ,the nurse practitioner and the staff deserve 10-stars -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Primary issues I encountered with CityHealth in San Leandro: 1) when I walked in during my scheduled time, they had to 'bump' me to a later slot because they accidentally triple booked. 2) The receptionist insisted my copay was $300 due to my insurance deductible not being met for the year. I don't have a deducible requirement for my insurance. Took a minute to get that resolved and I paid the regular $25 copay. 3) Told me I would receive a call/message about my results during the week. I never got any message or call. 4) They had me schedule a follow-up visit to go over the results. The doctor never showed up (I waited 20 minutes - to be fair, they did give me a heads up that he would be 'a few minutes' late, but 20 minutes? It was really easy to make an appointment online and also fill out all the necessary forms online prior to my scheduled time. Was seen quickly by the assistant and physician and they both provided exceptional and professional care. I would highly recommend this office if you’re in the area and need care. The office is state-of-the-art and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff was great the dr wasn’t so great he was very rude and questioned my condition like I was lying I definitely felt as if he was being very judgmental and this is my fourth time coming to this office I do not want to see him again This is my fourth time  coming to this office and today I was not happy with how I was treated by Paul Dwight. He asked me if I had any physical therapy that I know of I told him no this is my first time needing one and says he will look for some near by the area he had literally walked out and went to his office so once he prints out the referral I noticed on the paper that all the places he referred me to was very far away dansville ca Walnut Creek and a few other places that’s really far so I wanted to ask him a question about it and he tells the nurse
