Ubuntu Midwifery

We hired Edine from Ubuntu as our lactation consultant, and she was so wonderful. She really took the time to understand what my issues were and how I was feeling holistically as well. She was super responsive in communication, always offering thoughtful solutions and advice to my many questions. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for lactation support, and I’m sure she is an incredible midwife as well!

I reached out to Edine 3 days post birth and she was able to see me right away. She gave me all the time I needed without rushing me. Edine showed me different positions to nurse baby and was so patient throughout the appointment. Afterwards I had access to message Edine any questions or concerns and I always received descriptive responses in a timely matter. I feel much more confident with my breastfeeding journey after working with Edine! I can’t recommend her enough!

Edine helped me during the most difficult time in my life. I left the hospital barely knowing anything about breastfeeding and our pediatrician was claiming our baby was not getting enough milk on day 2. Edine was very knowledgeable and offered emotional support when I needed it the most. She is an expert and a kind soul. I’m glad we crossed paths. Happy to report that my baby is now almost 4 months old and is exclusively breastfed.
