We are very thankful for the doctors at Tuscaloosa Pediatrics. Our daughters see Dr. McGiffert, and she has always been thoughtful, patient, and incredibly kind. She takes the time to listen and explain things in a way that brings real peace of mind. What stands out most is that every doctor in the practice brings that same level of care. Each one is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the children they treat. Our community is truly lucky to have such an amazing group of physicians caring for our kids. We are very grateful for the care our family has received and the trust we have in this team.

We have been using Tuscaloosa Pediatrics for 17 years now. All 3 of my kids see Dr Brown, and I love how thorough she is. She’s not rushed, she takes her time, listens and talks to the kids and me. We’ve seen the other providers at times for sick visits and they are good as well. Other than Children’s in Birmingham, I wouldn’t want anyone else seeing or treating my kids.

They are always great with my daughter and explain things well to my wife and I. I also like the portal setup for making appointments and answering general questions.

We get to see Dr Julie Vaughan and she is incredible! We moved here from Auburn and her patient load has been maxed out a decade ago so she does not see new patients because she sees the ones she always had. Anyhow our Pediatrician in Auburn went to school with her and has known her and pretty much had to personally call her to get her to take just 1 more. She agreed and we’ve seen her for the past two years and she has built a wonderful relationship with us and is thorough each and every time. She takes her time and ask a lot of questions to make sure she knows everything that has been going on with my child since our last visit. She is brilliant, thoughtful and caring. We are blessed to be one of her patients.

Dr. Brown and all the doctors and staff at Tuscaloosa Pediatrics have cared for my children their entire lives. They are friendly, helpful, patient and caring from the first phone call to testing, diagnosis and check out. I also appreciate that they are well respected by other doctors in town. 5 stars every day!
