This hospital use to be our favorite but that was back in the 90's. I took my mom here Friday 2/27 & the ER staff were friendly & very caring. Then they admitted her & those nurses acted like they didn't want to be bothered by her needs. No compassion they treated her like she was just a number & not a person going to them for help. There was no communication with us to what time her surgery was. Dr. said 7:30am the next morning but that time came & went & when I asked no one could tell me a time. I thought they would want the surgery early since she couldn't eat or drink until after the surgery but it didn't happen until later that day. Then , there's a new patient that got put into the shared room with my mom & they were loud & just being rude . I complained & nothing got done about it.

The team in the Women's Surgical Center was excellent. I recently had a small surgery done there. Everyone from Eileen and Jackie, my pre-op team to my OR Nurse, Karissa, to my Recovery Nurses- Susan and Jessica were friendly, reassuring and attentive to my comfort and security. Undergoing anesthesia is always a little nerve-racking and they were all reassuring! I get cold a lot and provided me with a hospital gown that fills up with warm air as well as warm blankets! I wasn't cold once! Great job Everyone!

Here is a reason why it's important to look at your EOB when you get it from your insurance company. I had outpatient surgery back in December. The doctor, anesthesiologist, the nurses and PCT were all great. I had the best care. I had surgery early in the morning and was discharged by 1300. I received my EOB and noticed that I was charge for "Room and Board" and "Inpatient". I did not spend the night at TMC nor was I admitted onto a "medical floor". I'm working on fighting this, and I am still waiting on a "callback" from billing. According to them, they "had to get confirmation from the charge nurse that I was discharged the same day." I tried to send them proof that I was discharged i.e. My doctor's progress note from the day before the surgery as well as the Discharge summary wh

Maybe I've been fortunate (or just plain lucky!) but I've always had a good experience with TMC. Thus far, I've had one surgery, one x-ray, and one group meeting for TMC seniors. The staff has been supportive and caring. Through my cancer journey, I've received the support I've needed. I'm truly sorry to hear about patients who had a bad experience.

The person I saw today was a physician assistant I thought he was a doctor patrick Delage.......when coming to this emergency room was for help with my neck and arm, I am post op from 10/25. At the beginning he seemed then after he read my chart well......So CT results are back and Patrick comes in to tell me CT has showed nothing is wrong with your neck. Patrick also had to tell me I can't prescribe you nothing because you just had a refill of 90 oxycodone pills..yes I know and I never asked for pain meds I said. Patrick asked who I get them from Pima Pain Center, why is he asking about these pills. IDK. Patrick said Then I definitely can't give you a prescription because you have a contract I bet. Then I said what does this have to do with my neck and arm pain. Are you prejudice that I
