True Sports Physical Therapy Locust Point

The entire team is fabulous!! Zach, Meagan and Tim are super knowledgeable, friendly, and have helped me a lot more than your basic PT businesses. They don’t just put you on a bike for 15 minutes while working with another client. You get full one on one attention along with exercise plans for home. And they’re fun. Feels like you’re working out with friends. 10/10 recommend!

I started with Megan 5 months ago. I had extreme sciatica and diagnosed with a bulging L3-4. I was convinced I was going to have to stop lifting, and doing certain exercises. Megan spent the time understanding how I was lifting, and what my issues are. She continued to identify issues and giving me strong solutions to help me reduce my pain, loosen my muscles and get back to lifting. Over the past 3 months I have been able to increase lean muscle mass by 5 LBS, as I have gotten back to the gym. My back feels great, and the sciatica has been reduced substantially to almost minimum, and when it does flair up, I have the tools to deal with it.

My experience at True Sports was excellent. Megan helped me with knee pain I’ve had for years so much so that I was able to complete my first marathon - a lifelong goal - without injury. I can’t recommend them enough!

The billing department is atrocious. I got an inappropriate bill which I then called about. I was told that I did not have an outstanding balance. They then sent me the same bill again a month later. I called again and was told I did not have an outstanding balance. Then the same thing happened again a third time. 5 months later I got the same bill again for the same amount saying that it’s overdue when I had called about it three times already, and I had been told I did not have anything to pay. I went ahead and paid the bill anyways just to be left alone. 4 months later (a year since my last appointment), I get a new bill for a different amount. I had been told multiple times I didn’t owe anything...then was told I had to pay 4 months later...paid even though it didn't make sense.

I have received amazing treatment from True Sports Therapy in Locust Point! I was prescribed PT from my doctor for lower back and leg pain, which was impacting my ability to walk and perform other routine activities without a distracting level of comfort. I can't say enough about how quickly and effectively my physical therapist, Megan, has helped me recover. I came in with chronic, nagging pain and discomfort and felt a very positive turnaround after the first session. By the third session (1 1/2 weeks) I barely noticed any pain at all and returned to my normal workout routines.
