TriStar Summit Medical Center Emergency Room

The nursing staff was very rude. When taking me to room knowing I was there to have my left foot looked at because I couldn’t put any weight on it and thought it was broke. Was extremely annoyed that the very nice security guard had gotten me a wheelchair so I didn’t have to hobble around on it. Decided to jam my foot into the chair in the room because she had to push the wheelchair. I felt like for everyone but the security guard and the ER DR. I was interrupting their day and they were highly annoyed I was there.

My experience was EXCELLENT. I came in for chest pain, shortness of breath and high blood pressure. I saw A LOT of people from different different departments. EVERYONE was super friendly and nice. Kudos to your staff! KUDOS to LEE (the nurse in observations, the CT Scan Tech that was in the Army, him and his brother served - sorry I can't remember his name, the ladies in Nuclear medicine.. and Jeff. Again, you all were AMAZING. Thank you.

I was seen right away without a wait. They put me on an IV bag of Ringers and drew some blood. Shortly, the doctor came back to let me know what the blood testing found which, without going into detail, was a quite significant finding. The doctor recommended that I be admitted and, once my room was ready, I was transferred to a room on the 8th floor where I spent the next 4 days being treated for the condition. My care was always 5 star as was my accommodation. Thanks to all who took such good care of me!

When I walked into the ER they were very attentive and they took me right back to a room. I know that being able to be seen so quickly is not a typical ER experience but I was very pleased. The staff was great and very attentive. I was extremely pleased with my overall experience. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

6:00P.M. Monday. My husband had to arrive by Ambulance with excruciating pain. Nurses were very concern and helpful. Pain could not get stablized. Needed an MRI done. Doctor informed me, he could not order one to be done. I believed the Doctor could have ordered MRI. I have been there before for myself and others, it was done from ER doctor's order for MRI. I wished I would have insisted in some way. Especially, because of the growing worse pain for a 69 year man who had been suffering for days. Made him leave 11:30P.M. Unfortunately, could not fill prescription DR. wrote for pharmacy following day. ER could not work with pharmacy to fix. due to ER Doctor being off that day. Huge, Thank you to the Orthopedic having a cancellation Wednesday to see my husband, knew as soon as he saw him.
