Worst place ever. Most of the staff are lazy and hateful! The rooms are very dirty and the bedding is not changed properly. I have had to complain about all of this several times. They do not stay in the room with the patient while they take their meds. I found several of my husband’s pills lying on the floor 😠. Most of the staff are on their phones all the time and they have no compassion of the residents there! Most of them have no bedside manner’s and they definitely are not trained well. I didn’t know I couldn’t bring vitamins and a few other things from home, they finally told me that and I told them no problem that I would gather it all up and take it home. When I went back to my husband’s room all of it was gone😡. If you can help it, do not have your spouse taken there! Most disorga

My Mother spent a couple of weeks in Hickory NC rehab location and all staff were wonderful, treating you like family. Thank you so much for all done at a time in need. ❤️

Great Facility for Rehabilitation Services. I was there for four weeks. Loved the Staff, Rehab, Food, Etc.

My mother left the hospital and had to go to rehabilitation. This is her 3rd time in rehabilitation in 2 years. What a perfect experience. It is simply first class. They keep you informed and the staff took such great care of my mom. I highly recommend this facility. Thank you all for your amazing care of my loved one.

If this is the “best” that Hickory has to offer, I would hate to see the worst. My family goes to see my grandmother almost every day. DAILY we find major issues. She is consistently wet. I mean soaked through her clothes wet. Her personal items that WE paid for go missing. She has had MULTIPLE medical issues that could have been prevented had she received the bare minimum that her $13,000 per month pays for. We have addressed with the floor staff on many occasions to no avail. We even spoke with the social worker and a department head. That was a bust. The social worker claimed to be available for whatever needs or concerns we had. Another lie. She doesn’t return calls or address concerns. Please don’t put your loved one here.
