Trinity Health Medical Center - Rockford

This morning we had very poor customer service experience with the front desk/receptionist named Tammy. There was no kind greeting, seemed annoyed to be there, albeit it was early. But we were there with our young child at the ER- we certainly did not want to be in that situation, but to have someone so unpleasantly greet us added to our already unfortunate circumstance. She suggested we go to the other Urgent Care location off Northland Dr and circled on a paper the address and times the building is open, assuring us we could get right in. Upon arrival, we discovered this not to be true and had to wait for the UC to open. We ended up returning to the ER at this East Beltline location and saw Tammy again. We pointed out the incorrect information she shared but she made no apology and made

THEY GAVE MY INFANT A VACCINE I DID NOT CONSENT TO. Every appointment I had something went wrong. Waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room past my appointment time, inaccurately recording my child’s measurements, giving the incorrect vaccine… to name a few. Never once did they come in for any immunization stating what they were giving out loud, the dose, or the child’s name. I should have advocated more. This is how an incorrect vaccine was given. I’m not antivax (obviously) but whether you are or not this is not okay. I then asked to speak to a manager and he said “it’s okay that she received it. The CDC recommends it. You’re a nurse, you should know better.” Excuse me?! That’s not the point. This happened months ago and am still in disbelief. I understand accidents happen but the managers

Nice ppl but rush you and don’t take your injuries seriously, didn’t even clean my cut properly just stapled it, put antibiotic, and then sent me on my way. Told me if any leakage happens, come in right away. Couple days pass, notice some yellow discharge, go in, wait 30 min to see doctor (I could watch them all standing around chatting) doc comes in barely touches it and takes 30 seconds to glance at it, says the discharge is “normal”- wait until it gets even worse or infected to get treated. Wow. Wasted my time and money for something they didn’t even include in the take home papers.

Not impressed at all! Took my child there 2 days in a row for a severely swollen left side of face. The very nice, but ignorant doctor does a test for a stroke and nothing shows up, so she asks me directly, "Mom, what do you think is wrong with his face, cause it is swollen?" I'm wondering why she assumed I went to school for my PhD! Second visit, sends us home again with no diagnosis. Kid's in severe pain so on the third day took child to Midland Hospital on the other side of the state and they figured it out right away. Infection in a wisdom tooth. Antibiotic and and ice pack and we're all good! What the heck is wrong with these people?!?! Somebody else mentioned in a review that it's the cleanest hospital they've ever seen; well it should be, they just opened a few months ago! Duh!!!

Staff were very pleasant. Got in without too much wait, and doctor apologized for the wait I did have. Services moved right along after having gotten to the room.
