Trinitas Regional Medical Center - New Point Campus

I looked at some of the negative reviews, however, I had quite the positive experience. First of all, having been in different locations so far this hospital has far been the best compared to others. I know that hospitals like their psych units often get a bad rep, hence the many negative reviews. I gotta praise the cleanliness of this place. The custodians take effort in cleaning at least once a day, such as the rooms and hallways. The staff were nice and caring such as nurses, social workers, doctors, OTs and behavioral health workers. They actually treat patients as actual human beings. My stay was pretty short, but it was the first time I got out stable and content after this stay despite my minimal time here. Thanks

They dont even give post exposure prophylaxis medication to patients who have been exposed to another person’s blood in a crisis. I could have gotten HIV. You ruined my life!

This place is horrible NO HEAT for patients for years now my poor son is freezing in there THESE FACILITIES DOESN'T CARE ABOUT OUR FAMILIES! I HATE I HAD TO TAKE MY SON THERE AGAIN!!

During my treatment here, I got attacked in the shower with a metal pole, got restrictive consequences as a result of defending my life while nude, and felt humiliated at the incident. The final straw leading me to sign myself out was when a middle aged staff member started dating a 15 year old SA victim. This facility needs to get shut down.

Legitimate prison here for the patients. The staff has no idea what they're doing and I can't even be transferred to the right department. They don't explain to patients what they're signing and when you ask them to, they act like its beneath them. I wouldn't even send my dog here for treatment even if they had such a department. Their staff should also be retrained about being empathetic with the patients and should be retaught basic manners and common sense. I have no idea how this place is even running.
