Treemont Healthcare and Rehab Center

I cannot say enough good things about Treemont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to care for their residents. Patients are treated with the utmost respect, compassion, and dignity throughout their stay. The facility is newly remodeled and always clean, creating a comfortable environment for everyone. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive to all needs, ensuring that patients feel safe and well-cared for at all times. The administration is also very approachable and helpful. The sense of community at Treemont is truly special, and it’s clear that everyone here genuinely cares about the residents. My sister has been at Treemont for only 2 weeks, and the staff has been very kind and caring. The food seems to be enjoyable. HOWEVER, and this is a big one, the television system is entirely too difficult for her to use. The remote control has small buttons & the access screen, once the TV is turned on, is very complicated. I visited yesterday and had a difficult time figuring out how to navigate to local programming, for that matter how to navigate to ANY programming off the main screen. My sister has almost no other source of mental stimulation besides the television, as she is in a room by herself & visitors do not come every day. Somebody needs to put some instructions, at the very least, in each room to explain the television system, seems to me. Thank you.

Don't trust this place for your elderly. They find them to be an nuisance. The lady who worked at reception on September 26th at 6pm was very rude and didn't take accountability for her wrong doing.

I'm revising my review after my husband spent 5 weeks at Treemont. It started out rough but it definitely got much better. He enjoyed the food there and loved all the people who work there. Not the nicest facility since it's pretty old but the nurses and staff are what really counts. He felt well taken care of and made lots of progress while he was there. He had pt daily during the week which was a lot more than he received at Encompass the 2 times he was there. We will definitely return to Treemont if he needs care again.

Dione is an incredible Activity Director at Treemont Healthcare and Rehab Center! She always goes above and beyond to create engaging and meaningful activities for the residents. Her energy, creativity, and genuine care bring so much joy to everyone.
