Trappe Pediatric Care at Iron Bridge

Wow, I can't believe all the negative reviews. I Have been taking our 3 kids here for 6 years and have the best experiences. We particularly see Dr Warsi who is fabulous with our kids. We have seen the other providers as well who are all great!

Horrendous care from front desk staff to providers. Dr. Vitelli will make passive aggressive comments to new parents about baby sleeping patterns without even providing advice or guidance. Her nurse, Deana, will act as if you are asking the world to just hold your baby while they get shots. It’s beyond backwards. Moving states and changing providers makes you realize how bad their service here is. They are not working in your best interests. I will say the one time we saw Dr. Kaufmann she was extremely pleasant and not patronizing.

We have never had a problem here. We have been using all of the doctors for 11 years now. Wait times are usually minimum and the doctors are attentive and helpful.

I just showed up for my children's wellness visits at 8:30 a.m., only to realize their appointment had been canceled. Instead of notifying me or my husband, my children's grandmother was left a voicemail about the cancellation. Why their grandmother was called, I have no idea. If this had been my only bad experience, I would let it go, but there have been several other occasions where I felt the customer service was very poor. We're going to move the kids to a different practice.

On two different occasions I have called the after hours on call hotline for our sick kids. The first time I waited nearly 11 hours to hear back (called at 8:00 pm and did not hear back until 6:30 am). This time I called at 6:00 pm and didn’t receive a call until 1:30 in the morning! Both times the after hours on call nurses proved to be useless. They did not act in a timely fashion and did not provide any assistance with our concerns. I am not sure if this is due to their merger with Jefferson, but they should be ashamed of themselves. I love the doctors and nurses on site and have always had such a great experience with them. It is so sad to see the very little care they have for their patients to use such a horrible third party to handle emergency calls after hours.
