Transition Pharmacy

If I could give less than a 1 I would. My nightmare with Transition started in early November. My Gastrointerologist ordered a prescription I paid for it and I never received it. It was one excuse after another and one of the rudest customer service agents I have ever dealt with. I asked for a refund of my money after 6 weeks and he informed me if I got my money back he would put me at the end of the queue for the medication. I said ok just keep the money as I really need this medication. Well, I never got the medication. My doctor decided to try another medication so I called to have my money refunded. Well, I am still waiting on my money to be refunded! I have never been so disappointed in a company that states it is here to help.

Shame on you, Transitions Pharmacy. You stopped carrying my inhaler that I’ve been ordering from you for years, and you told my allergist’s office that you would let all your patients using that inhaler know that you were no longer carrying it. You didn’t let us know. When I went on line to order my next refill, the only message was “Your prescription has expired. Your prescriber has already been notified that you need a new prescription.”. So of course I contacted my allergist’s office to refill the prescription. The office told me that Transitions had promised to “let all our patients know” that the inhaler was no longer being carried. But you didn’t. So it wasn’t the allergist who was remiss in not refilling a prescription. It is Transitions who should have told its patients that

Update. They did reach out to see if they could help, which I appreciated. But I had already filled the prescription elsewhere. Tried using. They were unable to transfer my prescription from my current pharmacy. My doctor sent in a prescription and I was told it would take 1-2 days for it to be loaded into the system. Four days later it still isn't there.

The pharmacy has declined in customer service being impossible to contact and handle medication error on their end. Recently there seems to always be mistakes with medication being billed twice on credit card and the wrong prescriptions being refilled. The medication tracking is never updated in the system and there is no method to email for information regarding medication tracking.

Same complaints as others, with multiple phone calls to fix issues. Now this past week I noticed recently we received someone else’s rx. I assume wring shipping label on it. Now I have to call again and see if ours was mixed up, not due yet, a the list goes on. I get mistakes happen, but I know I sure have to jump through hoops with HIPAA rules
