Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Montgomeryville

I had a very positive experience at Patient First. The staff were professional, kind, and efficient from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was smooth, and I did not have to wait long to be seen. The medical team listened carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel reassured and well cared for. The facility was clean and organized, and everyone treated me with respect and compassion. I truly appreciated how thorough and attentive the provider was during my visit. I would definitely recommend Patient First to anyone looking for prompt, professional, and compassionate medical care.

My experience was a very good one, one of the best experiences I've had at an urgent care. The MA was pleasant and spoke clearly and made me aware of what was going on, I can't remember his name at the moment. Someone came in and took my blood, he was pleasant and let me know what he was doing and when he needed to switch to my hand from my arm (I'm a hard stick), the nurse was pleasant as well and explained everything to me about the treatment I was getting. The tech that did my xray was nice as well, and gentle with placing me where I needed to be for the xray. The physician I saw was Gretchen who is a PA, and I feel PAs don't get enough recognition, she asked me questions, had very good bed side manner, explained medications to me, was very patient and pleasant. Brian Richard Hornak, P.A. acted with extreme negligence when he allowed me to leave Patient First Montgomeryville on 1/30 with Zofran. I presented with GI issues, and despite being prescribed Venlafaxine, he never once alerted me to the risk of Seratonin Syndrome from taking Zofran and Venlafaxine. He acted with extreme arrogance when he told me it was in my paperwork to take home, when a nurse confirmed it was not in my paperwork. I have been going to Patient First for over a decade, and this is the first time I’ve encountered a clinician who is so incredibly arrogant and negligent. It is a shame, because the staff are otherwise okay. Brian Richard Hornak should be reeducated on alerting patients to drug interactions. His ego is walking away from the situation instead of rectifying it is

Wow! I highly recommend the Montgomeryville, PA Patient First facility! Every member of the staff that I interacted with demonstrated a high level of competence. I especially enjoyed meeting Dr. Heather Osher. She listened intently to my concerns then provided an evidence based diagnosis and treatment plan in a short period of time. She is very professional and has a wonderful friendly bedside manner!

I had a very good experience overall during my recent visit. The staff was friendly, and the doctor took the time to run appropriate tests and explain things clearly. I also appreciated the follow-up call from the nurse the next day with my test results. One suggestion: having online wait-time visibility would be a helpful feature to add.
