Tranquil Times Spa

Well I used to like this place and gave it a 5-star review a few years ago. Not anymore. It has gone downhill, but this evening was by far the worst. Many past times I have given a $15 tip on the $50 massage (30%). I only go once a month or so and don't always give the 30% tip, so it's not like I'm some predictable customer, but that's what I usually do. Tonight, my massage therapist (CeCe) started late and ended early. A little unhappy that I was not given the full-length massage, I decided I would just tip 20% ($10) and not bother to say anything. (I'm a monster, right?) Well, when I paid that, she complained! I don't know if she remembered that I have tipped $15 sometimes in the past, or her math was bad, or she just felt entitled to a 30% tip, but she told me I'm supposed to give $15 e

I am a little sad to be writing this review because I wanted to keep it a secret all to myself! We moved here from the Edgewater area 3 years ago where places like these were abundant - affordable good massages for feet or body. Tranquil times spa is better than any of the ones I've been to previously!! It is super clean, the staff is so so nice and accommodating. Ellie and Lisa are incredible and for the women out there - this team gets all of the knots out in the shoulders and upper back but there is also focus on the lower back where I have NEVER been massaged on before by all of the high end spas out there - Sojo Spa, The Fountain, Massage Envy, Hand and Stone... none of these places hold a torch to the type of care at Tranquil times spa. The massage is good but the price can be beat at many other places. They do have a table shower but they charge you. If you do go, ask for Tina to make it worth it.

I went here today for a 30-minute massage the girl was very inexperienced she left the room to take phone calls so I ended the massage early left 30 for the time and no tip she was very angry and i am waiting for a call from the boss. She still demanded a tip.

True reflexology! Amazing massage! I dont write reviews but have to here. I have been to many places and this is the best i have found. Once people find out about this place it will be difficult to get an appointment. Wonderful experience every time. 5 stars for sure!
