TPMG James River Pediatrics

We loved all the people at James River. Dr. Baust and Nurse Lee are some of our favorite people! We did end up switching practices only because I knew my son was on the spectrum and I was not getting anywhere. My son is now officially diagnosed and receiving proper therapy through another pediatrician. Although we had to go a different route, I would not discount the amazing care we received at this practice! As a side note, never ignore a mother's intuition.

We love James River Pediatrics! Dr. Steiner truly cares for my children’s health. The front office staff are friendly and so helpful. And they are careful to not overbook their doctors so you can get your kids on as needed. We made the switch almost 6 years ago from a larger practice in the area and I am so relieved we did. I trust these doctors and believe they truly care for their patients.

We have been seeing Lee, NP for 3 years with my oldest and he now sees my baby as well. We have always had great, informative visits with him. He is very responsive on the patient portal and always very helpful. They are able to get our kids in same day for sick visits and all of the staff especially his nurse, Jasmine, are always so kind to us.

There are no words to describe the comfort and safety I feel when it comes to Dr. Lee and the entire team at James River Pediatrics in Newport News. I have been with them since my sons birth, he is now 4! As a single mother, appointments can feel very lonely and quite scary with a new child - this office has always made me and my son feel a part of the family. They treat us with care and patience and so much kindness. Each visit (even the sick ones) are left with a smile on my boys face! The waiting room is clean, fun, and has educational play items for the kids to enjoy together like a giant Connect 4, alphabet magnets, and this colorful chalk wall pictured here! This team has been there for every over dramatic “new mom” scare, every illness, and every developmental milestone. I am incred

Great practice. Always clean, bright, the space is so inviting and interesting with all of the Lego creations, old-school video games, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fantastic doctors and practitioners. All four of my children love coming here!!!
