Towne Pharmacy

Decided to give a small business in my town a chance. Had my prescriptions transferred over to them. Went to pick up a prescription and their machine does not take my FSA card. I had to pay out-of-pocket and then I have to get reimbursed for my FSA. However, the receipts that town pharmacy gives me my FSA will not approve the reimbursement. So I wanted my prescriptions transferred over to another pharmacy that I knew the FSA card would be taken. The other pharmacy tried calling them and they wouldn’t answer so I called them and he said oh they never called. We always answer the phone. I explained the situation to him and he tried talking me into staying and I said just send me a new receipt for the one prescription. I will come there for small ones that I don’t care about getting reimburse

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for a long time and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the pharmacy manager goes above and beyond to help with anything you need and is a really nice and caring guy. I moved to another town a year ago and still won’t go any where else, loyal customer to the end. Very grateful to have such a great place in town instead of a chain pharmacy, the difference in care with this place compared to other’s is nite and day. Appreciate the hard work you all do👍🏻

The most unethical pharmacy I’ve ever encountered. For the first time in my 52 years, this pharmacy refused to fill a prescription because their profit margin was not lucrative. That is the most unethical thing I’ve ever seen in the medical industry. This place doesn’t care about the people. If it doesn’t make money for them they don’t care. Horrible. Don’t spread lies to justify your greed. It’s small businesses like yourself that are pushing people towards corporations that are tearing down small communities. I have found my way. Thank you very much.

Awful experience. The pharmacy manager is incredibly rude and makes you feel like you’re a nuisance rather than a paying customer. Instead of addressing issues he makes excuses and weaves stories to defend a poorly run system. I’d like to point out that every negative review left here has received a defensive and critical comment from this business, never once expressing concern or indicating the willingness to find a resolution. His comment below just proved my point. The reviews on other platforms aren’t great either. There are numerous pharmacies in the area, customers have the option of going elsewhere.

Thought this would be a great pharmacy and was satisfied in the very beginning. However, when I did not need a RX for a few months, and then came back, I was told I was NOT a customer and the pharmacist actually yelled at me over the phone then demanded my Social Security Number. I told him I had gone there before and he said that was "months ago." Why would that matter? The verbal abuse was astounding. I would NEVER patronize this pharmacy ever again.
