Tower Road Post Acute

Checked my 87 year old Mom into here after a major surgery. Although I can't remember all the names, Janice, Lola & Savanah I saw the most but all the staff were so good. Thank you! Even though I wish she'd stay another week, after 2 weeks Mom is going home. Parking is a problem so it's best to park at the McAlister's Deli (great menu & food) parking lot and walk to the front door on the Tower Rd. side.

If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. My mother was there 17 days. When she was placed into this facility my mother was responsive, could answer questions and talk. While in this facility the 2nd night she was there she fell out of bed and cracked her c1. Every time I went to visit her, she was covered in pee from knees to shoulders. Her room smelled so bad one time, I had to open the window because pee smell was suffocating. The 17th day of her stay I came to visit and she was unresponsive, siting in a chair in the hallway. She could only mover her head back and forth couldn't open her eyes. Nurse tried to tell me she was just tired because she had a heavy PT Day. She also told me my mother's Oxygen was low that morning, but it went up when they gave her some oxygen and said

I cannot praise the rehab crew highly enough. My husband has made continuous progress and will be released soon. I would especially like to commend Aimee Clavecilla who praised and pushed through the early days when it was hardest.

My grandmother was here for 3 weeks after being on a ventillator for 2 weeks and having to learn how to walk and bathe and care for herself again. The staff at Tower Road - Post Acute not only treated my grandmother with great care but the therapy team was outstanding. They pushed her to meet her goals. They also kept me informed of her progress. They keep the place clean. The beds are made daily and the rooms/floors cleaned daily as well, which I greatly appreciated. The residents are also kept clean, in both long term and short term care. I would like to give kudos to some of the staff who either help run the facility or directly cared for my grandmother.
