Very poor medical clinic all they did was get insurance money Then left me out without helping my son. This place should not be around. You have the worst rating

First I would like to say the nurses, and aides are wonderful. The doctors however are a disgrace. My 78 year old father had a trauma went to Reading Hospital needed to be pumped with fluids had some complications, released to rehab with fluid in his lungs gets RSV and pneumonia at rehab back at Reading hospital been in hospital 2 weeks. Get a call today told he can be released to a nursing home rehab even though procedure we were told would be done if no improvement was not completed. He is leaving when a chest X-ray that shows more fluid in his lungs than 4 days ago. Has him at a high risk of readmission but he is ok. Your doctors are rude, inconsiderate and inconsistent. No follow up with families we have spoken to a doctor 3 times since he has been there. Today, we finally had to have

This review is for the entire Tower Health Organization, not the hospital in particular. If I could leave a ZERO star review, I would. I have never been so frustrated trying to maintain ongoing health care than I have with this organization. You make appointments to see doctors weeks, even months in advance, only to have the respective office call a week or a few days before in some cases, cancel the appointment. They have no respect for their patients time. I will be eventually be leaving Tower Health becase of this. I have spoken to employees of Tower Health and they all seem to agree that Tower Health is a sinking ship.

Absolutely THE most disturbing hospital facility ever encountered. ER Dr unwilling to read the medical ID bracelet worn by patient brought in with a critical bleed following surgery. Patient woke up in ICU next day after going into shock due to Dr error. Patient had critical co-morbidity. Dr also did not read chart or listen to patient before she became unconscious. ICU Drs then told patient she was a drug addict. Apparently their Drs. assume that EVERYONE near READING, PA is a drug addict and it is unnecessary to read charts, medical ID bracelets or believe anything told to them by a patient. So glad patient survived by chance! If you want to LIVE, PLEASE consider never going to this hospital. Terrifying experience.

My Mother recently had a mini stroke and was cared for by Tower Health. She was given a heart monitor which is elective and experimental. None of which she was notified of. Now facing huge medical bills, some of which may not be covered under her insurance. My 81 year old Mother was harrassed and afraid when Tower Health phone calls started rolling in. She was made to give a several hundred dollar payment which really strapped her fixed income. Shame on you Tower Health. How many other people have you done this to??
