Tonia Isotalo

I’ve lived with Bipolar I disorder for over 40 years, and Tonia is one of the best psychopharmacologists — and psychiatrists — I’ve ever worked with. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and exceptionally responsive. A few years ago, during a particularly difficult episode, she went above and beyond — stopping by my home just hours before flying to Tahiti to ensure my medication was properly adjusted. That level of care and dedication is rare. She’s easy to reach by text, her appointments are well-organized, and her co-pays are fair. I also know she has extensive experience treating children and young adults, as well as working in psychiatric hospital settings. Dr. Isotolo is an outstanding provider, and I recommend her without hesitation.

Horrible experience. Paid for 75 minutes, NP was late and only provided 30 minutes in the appointment. Talked about several issues and NP only focused on what she wanted to and dismissed our concerns completely. Coming from another healthcare professional, run and find someone else to help you with your mental health!

I’ve been seeing Tonya for a few years. She is always ready to listen, very compassionate, extremely knowledgeable regarding medication, adjusts carefully and follows up thoroughly. I feel fortunate to have her as my psychiatric nurse practitioner specialist.
