Tommy Galanis

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Tommy Galanis and his office. Before my first visit, both he and his staff assured me that my insurance would cover the consultation. Afterward, I was unexpectedly billed anyway. It felt dishonest and like they tried to take advantage of me knowing I’m in the military and new to their office. This kind of behavior is unacceptable — be very careful before trusting what you’re told here.

Today I took my baby 19 months to a checkup cause my husband and I we were very concerned about our baby healthy, he has been sick for 2 months. (Our last doctor wasn’t good at all) We’re very happy and grateful to find Dr Galanis in our way. I can’t even explain in words how professional he was, what a patient doctor, and all the staff was very friendly and the place was very nice, super clean and comfy. I would like to recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great doctor to Dr Galanis!

Dr. Galanis is a phenomenal Pediatrician and truly goes the extra mile. He is one of the very few doctors who never rushes you and makes sure you really understand what he's informing you about. All 3 of our children go to him and we make the drive from the next town over because we just love him so much. He is personable, passionate and even noticed many things our children needed help with (in concerns to their health) that we had not been able to pinpoint. Not sure where all these good reviews come from because the Doctor is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I had an appointment for 2 kids, I called to say I was running late and was told by the receptionist that it was Okay. When I get to the place the front receptionist looks at me like “ what are you doing here?” and tells me the Doctor was out to Lunch. So I asked if he would be able to see my Kids and she said she didn’t know that she had to ask the Doctor. She asked me to wait for his response. 10mnts later she tells me the Doctor said he won’t be able to see me because I had rescheduled appointments in the past, and that I had to pay $25 per Child as co-pay. Just had a baby girl and I’m very picky about health in general. Just had a great GYN during my pregnancy and of course I wanted the same for my baby pediatrician. It took a while to find this place and Dr Galanis because we wanted a small clinic and didn’t want to step in a medical center right now considering the virus. Additionally, there are people dealing with a variety of different diseases so best to avoid large medical centers. This medical center is just perfect for our necessities because is small and personalized, they just took care of us right away for our first visit. They are very flexible with the insurances, had a lot options and even welcomed us with a few jars of baby formula. Fantastic considering I’m a first time mom and my milk production is low at the moment. Just
