Tom Thumb Pharmacy

The Texas Board of Pharmacy needs to launch an investigation on the sheer incompetence of the staff, particularly the unlicensed technicians. The girl working the drive through at approximately 9:15 am on Saturday 1/10/26 showed that she has absolutely no knowledge of what she’s even doing there. She quoted me over an hour to fill; an inhaler (you literally slap the label on the box) 5 tablets of prednisone And promethazine-dm (she was so incompetent she thought this was the codeine version, which is a controlled substance and insisted it was in the safe and would take over an hour to open, nope this version isn’t controlled at all). Her lack of knowledge and dedication to arguing a point she is incorrect on is indicative that she will mess up numerous prescriptions in her pharmacy, a

Lazy employees, coupled with attitude problems. I called at 5, on a Wednesday, requesting prescription refill for same day. The so called pharmacist said they're way too busy and she'll try. Got there at 7;30,, and she was moving around like a turtle. No prescription. Said come by tomorrow. No match for McDermott Tom Thumb Pharmacy (Now Closed), which was run professionally. These tantrum brats can't come close to that. Changing Pharmacy!

We've been using this pharmacy for almost 15 years and have never had a problem. Lauren and Alem are very personable and have helped us figure out some insurance issues. I would highly recommend this location.

Don’t know where to begin. The fact that i’m reviewing a grocery store-based pharmacy should speak volumes. Please save yourself a headache and do NOT use this pharmacy for any of your med needs. Unprofessional, unorganized, dirty.

Always a delay or error in the system. McDermott was a better location. Sad they closed it. Will be looking to xfer scrips to another pharmacy, Prob HEB.
