If I could leave 0 stars I would. My fiancé came in to see if he could get metal shavings removed from his eye. Nurse was okay. But the Dr we had did more damage to my fiancés eye than when the metal shavings were in it. Very unprofessional and I’m no medical professional but I’m pretty sure when touching patients you should be wearing gloves…? First is was no gloves then the Dr acted like we weren’t even there while having personal conversations in front of us while he has a needle in my fiancés eye. They proceeded to take him for a CT without even mentioning it to us so we thought they had the wrong room. Dr left the needle on the cart right next to my fiancé. Normally, when I have been to TMC Rincon I've had great experiences with the doctors. Yesterday, I brought in my grandma who has been dealing with some health issues. She was very worried and concerned and following the doctors orders from Monday to come back in if any symptoms persist. Dr. Brodrick came in pretty quickly, however her attitude was very rude and dismissive. As a worried granddaughter, listening to the way she was speaking to my grandmother very much upset me. She was unempathetic and made my grandma feel like she didn't care about what she was saying. People do not come to the hospital to be treated poorly in a time of need. They expect to be treated fairly and with empathy and concern. I hope in the future, if she happens to be the doctor on for the day that she has an att

From the moment the ambulance arrived at the ER until the moment I was discharged, the care was beyond phenomenal. I would rate my time at TMC Rincon with a million stars if I could. Extremely disappointed with our recent visit I brought my 6-year-old son in after he experienced severe, unrelenting pain for over 2 hours. As someone who worked ER graveyard shifts during COVID, I'm typically very understanding of staffing challenges and high-pressure situations. I also rarely bring my son to the ER—he sees his pediatrician regularly and I manage most issues at home. Before coming in, we had already tried Tylenol, ibuprofen, cold packs, and hot packs—nothing worked, which is why we brought him in. While check-in and triage went smoothly, the experience went downhill from there. We were placed in a room directly across from the nurses' station and left unattended. So nice to have a hospital on this side of town with kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable staff. I went to the NW hospitals over here and did not like them at all! I give a special thanks to Dr. Serra, and RN Erika, who were so nice when I was having a horrible health day. Ps. The entire visit went a lot faster than I thought.
