Tinker AFB Pharmacy

I have been getting prescriptions filled here for over 30 years. Before complaining about "slow service" and "inefficiency", reviewers need to understand that providing free meds to retirees is not their primary mission, and that most of the folks that pull and deliver your meds are volunteers. Over my 30 years' experience, there have been some speed bumps along the way, but they always get smoothed out by friendly and caring AD personnel and volunteers. Great job, guys, and thank you for your service!

Only good for military personnel and their families, including retired. If you don't have base privileges, don't even think about trying to use this pharmacy.

I love Tinker and all the services. Those complaining should learn and adhere to the process maybe then there won't be anycomplaints. There is a process it is the military. You know you have to follow the process. The customer service is great and the staff is very accommodating.

For all you 1 star reviews who are not AD. Read their website. They spell out their procedures, in detail in many ways on line, via phone, etc. keep up with system changes being made DOD wide, service is different everywhere. If you don’t like it, go to VA, choose Express Scripts or retail pharmacy. Part of our military training always involved following procedures so not a new concept. I love the service, the facilities, the process improvements made, the mission dedication even through Covid. Top two things that irritate military members: 1) the way we’ve always done it and 2) change.
