Timothy S. Johnston, MD and Associates

I picked this dr through my insurance, said he was accepting new patients, I called when I officially got assigned to him and they took an "application" for review to see if they would have me as a patient. I got a call back they they do not have ANY AVAILABILITY for any provider in the office and I cant call back until OCTOBER! it is JANUARY. take yourself off the list of "accepting new patients" if you can't see them within 4 months. Wild!

Called to inquire about becoming a new patient here and the receptionist hung up on me after being on hold for 5 minutes. Staff seems unprofessional — poor phone etiquette and zero follow up from patient intake coordinator to an online form submitted over week ago to requesting to become a patient. I feel I dodged a bullet and will find an office with a professional staff.

I recently moved to Merced. I had a seizure at work and the hospital that attended me suspended my license. I filled out the new patient form for Timothy Johsnton, then called back three days later when no one had reached out to me. The lady that picked up the phone told me they would review my new patient application and get back to me within 5 days. Well, I got a call 8 days later for them to tell me that they are not accepting new patients. Please do not advertise that you are taking new patients, when you are not. Do not tell potential patients to keep waiting for a call back if you do not intend to take new patients. I need to get referred to a neurologist to get my license reinstated, and your delay in getting back to me, and ultimate rejection has only made my situation worse. I

Dr Johnston just delivered my daughter 3 weeks ago. Everything from the first appointment to my post partum appointment was amazing! I had some complications after birth and Dr j made sure I was taken care of. I loved everything about him and his practice. I am praying he doesn’t retire before I have my next baby! lol.

Amazing doctor with a heart of gold. If you need paperwork filled out for any reason, he’s got you covered. He’ll deliver your baby as swiftly as possible and safely. He was amazing with our son. My wife and I are definitely staying. Donna is amazing, too and so is Nicole. Someone get those ladies a raise or something.
